My poetic Writing

I have been learning about Poetic devices to help me make my ideas so the reader can feel them. What do you think I have used?

Leaves by Kirsty

Lots of leaves slowly waving side to side,

falling of the tall brown trees.

The pieces of the green grass

Are poking through the beautiful colourful leaves.

The leaves are curvy and pointy

like our fingers spread out wide.

The autumn leaves are brown and yellow.

Dead Leaves on the damp squishy ground.

The leaves are crunchy and crumbly under my feet

like chips when I eat them.

CRUNCH CRUNCH!

Kirsty's Technology Trip

On Monday I went to  Grey High for a technology visit. Joela drove me to the technology. I took photos inside of  the the cooking room, the canteen  and the teachers. I  met Mrs Connally and Mr Keenan and Mrs Gilliland.           

The Walkway

I went to the tree top walkway with my family. We went to the cafe and had nuggets and chips and fish nuggets. We had to go up on the brig but it was high up. 
I went to  the tower and I climbed the steps and I saw leafs and branches. We had a great day.    

basketball

On wednesday i went with joela and nikolai to the basketball olympics. I bounced the ball and we played some games. I went to the basketball court. Joela drove us there to practice bouncing the ball. I was with jemma and lily and nikolai. at the end i won  a certificate and a bottle. I was excited!

Jess G's party

On saturday  I went to the party at Jess G’s house. My friends were there. my mum took me. I played with Jess toys and I looked at her room. We played chocalate games. Jess G invited me. The party was awesome!  

The Rat Trap

Last Thursday I saw a rat and it was dead. The rat was at home  in the car port. The rat got caught in the trap and Dad threw the rat away.
