Writing a letter to Nana
First I read the book "Keep in Touch." In the book a girl wrote a letter to her Grandad. After reading the book I wrote a letter for my Nana. First I read the instructions in the book about how to make an envelope. Then I made an envelope and decorated it. Next I put my letter in the envelope and posted it to Nana. I hope she likes it.
This is my letter:

Hi again Kirsty
ReplyDeleteCan you find out how your letter gets from Blackball all the way up to Takaka? Let me know what you find out OK.
Thanks
Miss J
Nana was so surprised to find a letter in her mail box from you Kirsty. It was such a big envelope with so many pages and a beautiful picture. I am so pleased Henny and Penny are laying you some eggs and that you are feeding them.
ReplyDeleteLove from Nana
I like the way you described all the things that you have been doing and how you included the photos to show your learning.
ReplyDeleteHello Kirsty, Nana had to go to town this morning to have a hair cut and it was very wet and very very windy. A horrible day. I came home straight after my hair cut and lit the fire to keep warm and dry. I wonder if it is wet and windy in Blackball? I know your Mum will have your house nice and warm when you get home from school.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day at school. Love from Nana. xx
